This is a very simple black and white card. Okay, time for you to get some ink on paper.
I'm sorry, the glitter doesn't show, though I do have it on the ripple on the top of the water and on the little fish. I haven't decided if I will give this one to AJ, so she has a hard copy or send to my nephew, who is serving in Iraq, BUT I can always make another one. The stamp-n-stencil sets are a lot fun and easy to do. If you don't have one, you just might want to get one and see what I mean.
This scarecrow is one of AJ's newer stamps. He's cute don't ya' think?!? I stamp it on white cardstock that a friend had given me, that had been die cut. Then I colored it in, using copic markers. After coloring, the image, I took a sponge and did the sky and for the ground, I torn the edge of scrap paper and used it to mark the ground. I then stamped the saying.
I stamped the image with black Stazon and then I colored the image using the stencil parts. The coloring is done with a stipple brush. I then cut it out with my oval scalloped nestabilitie and before removing the die, I stippled some green around the inside of the die, leaving the white ring scalloped edge. I layered that on a piece of paper from the pack of Harvest & Holiday. It is by Debbie Mumm for Jo-Ann fabrics and crafts. The card is brown cardstock.

Do you have a horse? Do you go horse riding? I don't do either, but I like horses. I thought I would make a card with this stamp. I stamped the horse head on white cardstock and then I colored it in with a few copic markers. The colors I used were E02, E33, E35, R02, YR00, and 0 the colorless blender. I am new using these markers, but the more I use them, the more I am liking them. After getting the horse colored the way I wanted it, I used a circle scalloped nestabilites die and cut out the image and while the paper was still in the die, I used a duster with some blue ink and went around the image, thus leaving the edge white. I then used a circle nestabilities die and cut the black layer out. I stamped the horseshoe image out twice and cut them out. I colored them in with a silver glitter pen (though you can't see that very well in the scan). I layered the images on a light brown layer, which is 3 3/4 by 5 which I used the Swiss Dots cuttlebug embossing folder on. I really like how the card turned out and I hope you do to. I can think of many people who would enjoy getting a card like this? Can you?

I thought I would share this card today. I've had this stamp for awhile and I apologize for not having the name. I am hoping to get a catalog from Amy soon, so that I can help you identify the name or the number of the stamp. In the meantime, just e-mail Amy or leave a comment and tell her you are interested. The stamp has 3 flowers, so I stamped the one flower twice. After coloring in the image, I used my versamark pen to go over the entire image and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I then punched out a circle. First, I used the paper that had the circle punched from placed it on the paper where I wanted the sun and then sponged in some yellow and orange ink. I then removed the reverse mask and place the punched circle on top of the sun and then used several different blues to get the sky effect. I also sponged a little gray over the sun to give the effect of clouds. The dirt or sand, I used embossing paste mixed with pearl-ex and applied. I hope this gives you some ideas and maybe motivate you to make a card. Remember, even if you only stamp 15 minutes a day or so, you will get cards made. AND, every one enjoys getting fun mail.
I decided to use this stamp, after I came in from my flower garden. I used chalks to color and then sealed it with hair spray. The is more vivid in person. Both of these stamps are AJ's Country Stampin's
. If you don't see them on Amy's website, please write to Amy and let her know what stamp or stamps you are interested in. You may want to put the word 'stamp' in the subject line to make sure it gets Amy's attention : )
After coloring it, I use a scallop punch on the right side and layered it on silver paper that was also scalloped. I then layered it on color core paper, after I had run it through my Sizzix, with a CuttleBug embossing folder. After the paper is embossed, I took some fine grit sandpaper, to get the look of the leaves, to stand out a bit more. I layered it on gray paper and then on a shimmery yellow/orange cardstock.

Hi! Does this remind you of childhood days?!? This stamp can be found on here Summer Days I am not sure if Amy has the verse stamp uploaded yet, but all you have to do is write her and let her know you are interested in it. The rest of the verse is stamped on the inside and it says, Put your heels up, and have an Awesome day!
The tree is stamped on a silver glossy type paper and I embossed it. I colored in the bark with a marker. I then took a sponge and put the different colors on the paper. After, it dried, I trimmed my paper and layered it on black to have it stand out, just a little.
I hope this brings a smile to your face and maybe it will give you a jump start to stamp a card today, "if" you need a jump start! : )
I do hope you had a pleasant week-end. ~~Inkyhive
